This event was for our employee of the year. It was inspired by steampunk, giving a victorian factory feel. I mainly designed the surprise gift presentation, table numbers, menus, and programs. The gift presentation was a Cryptex (best known from the film, The Davinci Code) containing a secret message and gift, which added some mystery and fun to the reveal. I fashioned the table numbers as intricate clockwork hanging lamps to add to the steampunk feel. The menus and programs were designed to be reminiscent of old victorian printed photo books. While I was personally working on these, I was able to help the team with every other part of the event, from floral pieces to the photo booth set, and the elegant invitation boxes. Significant events like this are the best to help put together because of the freedom we have to be creative and go places never before explored.
